The Titans Look To Regroup After A Loss

Titans were looking for revenge last Sunday as the defending AFC champions, Cincinnati Bengals, came into town. Despite 300 total yards from quarterback Ryan Tannehill—291 passing and nine rushing—and a career-high 79 receiving yards by running back Derrick Henry, it was not enough to offset the performance of the Bengals. Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Tee Higgins connected on seven passes for 114 yards, including a 27-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter that proved to be the deciding points in a 20-16 Bengals win.

The Eagles

So far during this 2022 season, the Philadelphia Eagles have been the best team in football. The Eagles have the best record at 10-1 and their #1 in the NFC. They coming off a prime time win against the Green Bay Packers by a score of 40-33.

3 TOPICS OF THE GAME

1. Hurts Will Hurt You

Jalen Hurts leads the most potent rushing attack the Titans will face all season, so slowing them down is a major key to victory. The Titans have allowed only one 100 yard rusher all season, so stopping the run is key for a chance to win.

2. Offensive Problems

The Titans offense is averaging 9 points per game. That simply will not get it done. Against Cincinnati, their biggest let down was in the red zone, where they are normally really good. So improving upon the recent performance in the red zone is critical.

3. The Return of AJ Brown

There’s no secret that AJ Brown is still bitter about how the end of his Titans tenure played out. During the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, the Titans traded wide receiver A.J. Brown to the Eagles in exchange for the 18th overall pick in the first round and an additional third-round pick. Brown played for the Titans from 2019 through 2021, totaling 2,995 yards and 24 touchdowns on 185 receptions.
