Tannehill Returns With A Win

With the return of quarterback Ryan Tannehill, Titans fans worried if the pass production was going to increase. The last few games, the team has been more run heavy with rookie quarterback Malik Willis while Tannehill was out. The fans got their answer as Tannehill threw for 225 yards and a pair of touchdowns as they defeated the Denver Broncos 17-10. His key weapon in this game was not Derrick Henry, it was wide receiver Nick Westbrook-Ikhine. Westbrook-Ikhine registered a career-high 119 receiving yards on five catches while notching his first career two-touchdown game.

Green Bay Packers

After a three-game road swing, the Packers were back home last week to host the Dallas Cowboys. Despite a 14-point deficit in the fourth quarter, they rallied to send the game to overtime and then used a 28-yard field goal in the extra period to clinch a 31-28 victory. It ended the Packers’ five-game losing streak.

3 Topics Of The Game

1. That Bad Man Aaron Rodgers

Though this team has struggled offensively, it would be foolish to discount Aaron Rodgers in any capacity, particularly after the Packers rode their offense to a come from behind win against the Dallas Cowboys. Rodgers will present a challenge for a defense that is playing at a high level despite the injuries.

2. Big Building Block

With Ryan Tannehill back in the starting lineup, the passing game as a whole showed signs of life, with Nick Westbrook-Ikinhe leading the team with 119 yards receiving and 2 TDs. The offense faces a Green Bay secondary led by Jaire Alexander, one of the best at his position in the NFL. Can the Titans build off of their performance on Sunday?

3.Playing On A Short Week

Head Coach Mike Vrabel has been very adept at navigating altered schedules since he became head coach, and this week is no exception. With a short week of prep before Thursday’s matchup at Lambeau Field, can he prepare a team that is still banged up to secure a road win?
