SportsTrend with Jason Martin and Brandon Haghany
(Saturday: 11:00am-1:00pm)
The latest entry into the ever-expanding 104-5 The Zone weekend lineup, SportsTrend runs every Saturday from 11am-1pm and brings together a Hilltopper and a Blue Raider, both current producers and both former Zone interns. Jason Martin and Brandon Haghany developed the show to be unique…technologically inclined…fast-paced…and in-depth.
In addition to Titans and Vols coverage, expect a little bit of everything, including extensive NBA talk and guaranteed interviews and analysis every week from the world of professional wrestling, a subject both hosts know extensively. All of that plus plenty of pop culture talk. And as the name implies, social media and direct interaction with the fans shape the perspective of the program.

Jason Martin:
Jason Martin has worked in sports and entertainment since 1999. His career started in professional wrestling, where he worked in play by play and ring announcing and later served as head of creative for several organizations in the Southeast, most notably NWA Wildside/Anarchy. During that time, Jason was also a successful freelance columnist for some of the most well-known websites in the industry. He attended North Carolina State University in 1997 and 1998 but graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Broadcast News in 2013. While at WKU, Martin won the prestigious Bob Proctor Scholarship in 2012, Sports Broadcasting’s Outstanding Senior in 2013, and a first place Associated Press television award, among others.
His journey with the Zone began in May 2012 when he interned for the Midday 180. Jason officially joined the WGFX team in March 2013.
Brandon Hagany:
Brandon grew up with dreams of being the next Pat Summerall, often playing Madden with the television on mute in order to add his own commentary. Of course, it’s pretty easy to be the best play by play commentator in your own house. In the real world? Not so much. Brandon’s formidable sports years coincided with the Titans moving to Nashville, and his most vivid fan moments often include a moment from the team’s history.
Those memories came full circle when Brandon joined the Titans Radio Network as a producer during the 2012 season.
