Harrison Waylee rushed for 151 yards and three touchdowns as host Virginia seized control early, pulled away in the second quarter and set a school record with 700 total yards in a 55-16 rout of William & Mary on Saturday afternoon in Charlottesville, Va.The Cavaliers (2-1) scored on six of their first seven drives and rolled to their seventh straight victory in the series, spoiling the return of Mike London, who coached them to a 27-46 mark from 2010-15. He scored on runs of 2 and 8 yards in the second quarter before ripping off a 97-yard TD run about 3 1/2 minutes into the third on the first play of Virginia’s opening drive of the second half.Chandler Morris completed 13 of 19 passes for 149 yards before sitting the rest of the way after Virginia’s fifth scoring drive.Noah Vaughn added 101 yards, including a career-best 54-yard run on a third down that set up Virginia’s fourth TD.Kameron Courtney, J’Mari Taylor and Xavier Brown also had rushing TDs as the Cavaliers gained 379 yards on the ground.William & Mary (1-2) was held to 263 yards and Carter Boyd punted nine times after the FCS program earned a one-point win over Maine last week.
