Five-star prospect TyTy Washington committed to play basketball at Kentucky next season.Washington announced the decision Wednesday night, selecting the Wildcats over Arizona, Baylor, Kansas, LSU and Oregon. He initially committed to Creighton before reopening his recruitment in March.The 6-foot-3 point guard played for AZ Compass Prep School in Chandler, Ariz. He is considered to be one of the best point guards in the Class of 2021.Washington said he was eager to play for John Calipari.”There is a big challenge at Kentucky for playing time and a leadership role,” Washington said to ESPN. “I always liked a challenge.
