BELMONT BRUINS MEN’S BASKETBALL EXPANDS COVERAGE ON 104.5 THE ZONE

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – – Belmont University Athletics announced Tuesday expansion of its men’s basketball game coverage on WGFX-FM 104.5 The Zone.

The Bruins are scheduled to have an unprecedented 20 regular season games and all postseason games on 104.5 The Zone. Voice of the Bruins Kevin Ingram will return for his 11th season at the microphone for Belmont men’s basketball. Ingram, who co-hosts 104.5 The Zone’s top-rated Wake Up Zone, can be heard on all Bruin Sports Network broadcasts throughout the season via belmontbruins.com and Bruins Mobile.

“This is a significant announcement for our men’s basketball program,” Belmont University Director of Athletics Mike Strickland said. “From its highly-rated sports talk lineup to its acclaimed live broadcasts, 104.5 The Zone offers undeniable exposure and credibility. 104.5 The Zone was a finalist for Sports Station of the Year at the 2011 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Marconi Awards for excellence in broadcasting.
