Virgil Hrring:

Virgil Herring graduated from Mississippi State University. He is Director of Instruction at the acclaimed West Haven Golf Club and is founder of Higher Performance Golf Academy. Virgil received the 2003 Tennessee Section PGA Teacher of the Year Award and was named 2002, 2003, 2005 and 2006 Middle TN Chapter PGA Teacher of the Year. He was named a 2009 U.S. Kids Golf Top 50 Instructor (source) by U.S. Kids Golf.

Virgil worked with Masters participant Brandt Snedeker from 2000-2007 and Tour players Harry Taylor, Brad Fabel, Cliff Kresge, Vance Veazey, Garrett Willis, Bob Wolcott & Kim Williams. He currently works with 52 Division-1 College Players and 22 top TN Junior Players.

 

Ned Michaels:

Ned Michaels graduated from Vanderbilt in 2001 where he was a multi-year golf letterman and winner of the Mason Rudolph Cup in 2000. He played professionally on the Hooters Tour from 2001-2003 winning twice and posting numerous top tens. He was also a member of the Asian and European Tours from 2004-2008 winning the 2004 Philippine Open (Asia's Oldest Championship) and posting numerous top tens on both tours. He has played with some of the best players in the world including: Adam Scott, Brandt Snedeker, Henrick Stenson, KJ Choi, Ernie Els, Graeme McDowell and Luke Donald.
 
After injuries forced Ned away from professional golf in 2009, he started "360 Junior Golf," a training and instruction academy designed to help junior golfers achieve their dreams of playing college golf.  In addition to being a junior golf specialist, Ned is also recognized as a top level swing instructor in Nashville, working with high level amateurs and several mini-tour players(soon to be PGA Tour Players).

Ned currently has two shows on the #1 rated sports talk radio station in the country,104.5 The Zone,: "Talking Golf: Virgil and Ned's Tour Spin," which he has co- hosted since 2010; and "Golf Talk America," which has quickly become one of Nashville's top rated radio shows.  Ned's unique ability to give a player's perspective on current issues in the game of golf, and conduct informative, entertaining interviews has created a solid, growing listener base.
