Overtime-isms: What Is A Tray of Meat?

Overtime ''Isms''
If you've heard the show, undoubtedly you've scratched your head and thought to yourself ''what are these guys talking about''? Here's all the answers you want  -- and maybe don't want -- to know when it comes to the Overtime-isms you'll hear on the show.

Below you'll find the insight to those inside jokes.

Corn Nuggets - instead of saying good show, or you guys rock or I enjoy listening, the OT crew often begin calls with "corn nuggets" to greet us. I know, we're out there!

Other Planet - For a number of years, Brent and Mickey worked at another radio station. It is now referred to as the ''other planet''.

110% - One of the Overtime Crew's favorite sports clichés...as in ''giving it 110%''.

One Game At A Time - Another favorite sports cliché of the Overtime Guys.  Typically athletes who give ''110%'' do so by taking things ''One game at a time''.

Scrip Club - A gentleman's club, as described and frequented by Pacman Jones

Tray of Meat - An obscure reference to a show on a ''slow'' sports day. ESPN once opened a SportsCenter (that would feature very few highlights) by showing a guy carrying a tray of meat.

Judas Priest is a ''They'', Not a ''He'' - Mickey is a big music fan, specifically of KISS and any metal music from the years 1983-84. Sometimes Andrew likes to stir up Mickey's deepest emotions by referring to Judas Priest as a ''He'' instead of a ''They''.

Mt Juliet, IL - This was contributed by a listener who misunderstood a question of Andrew's:  ''What part of Chicago are you from?'' and answered with ''Mt. Juliet'' (the city he was actually calling from).  A mix up...but a very funny one...

Other Guy - Callers initially referred to Mickey as "other guy" instead of calling him by his given name. And sometimes still do!

Grouper Sol - Mickey's superstitions will not allow him to say the name of the ultimate game while his team chases the dream. So, he came up with a substitute for the name Super Bowl as the Titans went after the trophy.

- the song "Superstition" often plays while Mickey gets into one of these modes.

The Jay Cutler Draft Party - The celebration at Judge Beans was a wild scene as people celebrated Jay Cutler's arrival into the NFL. Bobby Johnson was there eating barbecue, MJ Garrett was there with a film crew following him around and Southern Indiana TV guy was there to add to the flava of the day!

Southern Indiana TV guy - Several of these types covered the JCDP and performed as if they had lifted the Titanic out of the water. They had a style that only Mickey can reproduce on air. Since he was South Central KY TV guy!

Sanctynasium - Mickey's place of worship at Clearview with Church CEO Mike. It's half gymnasium and half sanctuary.
