The Tennessee Titans have made their first round draft pick – and the excitement around this pick extends far.

The Titans made the former Alabama linebacker, Rashaan Evans, their first round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft. The Titans originally were scheduled with the 25th pick in the first round, but traded up to take Evans; with doing so, the Titans gave up No. 125 in the fourth round, for pick No. 215 in the sixth.

It seems to have been the right play, of course, as Titans Nation backed this pick in excitement.

Rashaan Evans showed his excitement – fist pumping and yelling – even after leaving the stage in Dallas. Jon Robinson, Mike Vrabel, and Amy Adams Strunk also expressed their excitement – all high-fiving and hugging – after they locked in Evans.

A video on the Tennessee Titans social platforms showed a Facetime conversation shortly after the pick between the former Alabama players – now NFL teammates –  Rashaan Evans and Derrick Henry expressing their excitement for Evans to get to Nashville.

Meanwhile, back in Nashville, the fans at the Tennessee Titans Draft Party expressed their enthusiasm as well.

Rashaan Evans is schedule to be in Nashville Friday for a press conference at St. Thomas Sports Park.

“I’m ready to get to work.” – Evans
